A grant of £500 from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority’s Sustainable Development Fund has been awarded to the Moorcock Agricultural Society towards a new set of health and safety policies for the Moorcock Show. The new policies should ensure the annual event runs safely and smoothly taking into account any health and safety requirements. The policies will be used to guide the Moorcock Agricultural Society and enable the show to continue to take place so that visitors attending can enjoy the special qualities of the National Park in a safe way. It will also help support the continuation of this locally important traditional Dales sheep show in the longer term.
Thank you to everyone that has advertised with us this year.
